Agni Solar Systems Pvt. Ltd., in partnership with SSP (Swayam Shikshan Prayog), has successfully deployed solar home lighting systems in less-developed regions of Maharashtra. These innovative devices are equipped with KPay’s “Pay-As-You-Go” technology, enabling users to access clean energy affordably and sustainably.

  • Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: Local women were trained to become distributors, playing a pivotal role in allotting these devices to rural users.
  • Affordable Energy Access: Users can pay for the devices based on their requirements and affordability using USSD or SMS-based payment gateways, eliminating the need for smartphones or internet access.
  • Energy as a Service: This initiative exemplifies the shift towards “energy as a service,” ensuring energy reaches even the most remote communities.
